Sistem Tempahan Bilik Khas is a comprehensive room booking management system designed for educational institutions. It allows teachers and staff to easily book special rooms such as computer labs, science labs, meeting rooms, and auditoriums. The system features real-time availability checking, conflict detection, approval workflows, and automated notifications. Administrators can manage rooms, set booking rules, and generate usage reports.

The problem
Special rooms — computer labs, science labs, halls — were booked through a shared spreadsheet, which caused frequent double-bookings, clashes and last-minute confusion for staff.
My approach
I built a Laravel-based booking system with real-time availability, automatic clash detection, an approval workflow for administrators, and email notifications so everyone involved stays informed.
The result
Double-bookings were eliminated, approvals became fully traceable, and administrators gained monthly usage reports (exportable to PDF) to plan facility use with confidence.
